Superb Iconic Twin Lady Art Deco Lady Table/Desk Lamp
A superb, scarce and stylish Art Deco table or desk lamp of two dancing ladies in cold painted silvered spelter holding aloft its original Loetz type butterscotch veined glass globe mounted on a rectangular alabaster base.
The iconic and striking design is one of the most coveted examples of Art Deco lady lamps available and the figures are crisply modelled retaining their original silvered paintwork. The globe shade is original to the lamp and again is in perfect condition.
This rare lamp resembling 'Egyptians Dancing' is the scarcer and more stylish variant of the more commonly seen twin lady short pleated skirt with oval base.
Size: 51cm high.
Date: c.1930.
Condition: The entire lamp is in excellent condition, with no restoration, including the ladies fingers which are often damaged and retains its original paintwork which is lightly age worn but overall in excellent order. Fully working and re-wired retaining its original push button switch, ready to install.
