Superb Stylish Arts and Crafts Vaseline Glass & Brass Ceiling Lantern
 
Stylish brass electric ceiling lantern  with its original matching vaseline glass cylindrical liner complete with its matching ceiling rose.
 
Beautifully designed in the classic Arts and Crafts or Art Nouveau style, the stylish brass cage form frame has strap form interlaced stylised emblems with heart forms and tendrils.
 
The lantern retains its original patina and its matching vaseline glass cylindrical liner which exhibits the most vibrant wonderful colour with deep rich opalescent banding.
 
Date: circa 1900.
 
Size: Lantern frame is 54 cm in total height x 25cm maximum diameter. The current installed height from base of lantern to the ceiling rose is 100cm which can be altered to suit installation.
 
Condition:  In superb condition retaining its original patina in full working order complete with its matching original ceiling rose.  The glass liner has no issues and the lantern has been rewired & ready to install with black antique style twist silk flex. The lantern has always been electric and is not a gas conversion.
