A truly stunning & extremely rare Art Nouveau/Arts and Crafts RUSKIN POTTERY HIGH FIRED FLAMBÉ LILY VASE (shape 63) ON STAND from the Ferneyhough Collection of William Howson Taylor, in an intense crimson glaze exhibiting wonderful transmutation of violet and purple and speckled in green.
Impressed marks, vase dated 1926, collector`s labels Provenance: William Howson Taylor (1876-1935); Ferneyhough Collection. Exhibited: Victoria & Albert Museum, London, Ruskin Pottery from the Ferneyhough Collection, 1975.
In excellent condition. An extremely important piece of British Art Pottery from a true master - it is simply superb.
