An important monumental high-fired Ruskin Pottery vase, Birmingham, England, 1933 exhibiting rich crimson glazes with lavender transmutations of architectural form; one of the last pieces that William Howson Taylor produced.

 

Provenance: Sotheby's London 2002, lot 434 from The Albert E. Wade Collection.

 

Stamped RUSKIN 1933 with impressed artist signature WILLIAM HOWSON TAYLOR; 

 

Size: 40.5cm high (16”).

 

Condition: In excellent original, undamaged and unrestored condition.
