A superb and excellent example of a rare antique William Howson Taylor Ruskin Pottery high fired jug/pitcher with angular handle - a most beautiful arts and crafts design and example of British Art Pottery.
The bulbous jug has a magenta colour firing with green spot transmutations.
The firing is well controlled and even, particularly over such an unusual shape which is also finely potted.
Impressed mark: RUSKIN ENGLAND 1933 with full William Howson Taylor signature.
Size: 14cm high.
Date: 1933.
Condition: In excellent original condition with no blemishes or repairs.
