Iconic monumental Applied Arts London Frankart Art Deco Lamp/Light
 
An iconic and monumental size Applied Arts of London Art Deco lamp very much in the style of Frankart New York retaining its original opaline glass globular shade c1930 and standing a huge 87cm tall in height.
 
A rarely seen example, the highly stylish slim lady is stood on a tall elongated pillar on her tiptoes holding aloft a lamp globe with outstretched arms. Due to its large size, the lamp can be used on a desk / sideboard or at floor level.
 
The lamp is cast from heavy quality metal and is both extremely sturdy and heavy in weight. The white paint has been applied during the 1930s and may well be original making the lamp most striking and would make a fantastic stylish addition to both a period or modern interior.
 
Marks: Fully marked in cast letters and numbers to the reverse Applied Arts, R.G. 770082 & British Made.
