Large Moorcroft Macintyre Florian Ware Twin Handled Baluster Iris Vase
 
William Moorcroft for James MacIntyre, a Florian Ware twin handled baluster Iris art pottery vase, circa 1903.
 
Of very large size, this is a scarcely seen and most beautiful example of a twin handled baluster form vase displaying superbly decorated delicate tubelined irises in deep blues on a lighter blue background colourway. 
 
It is in a classic arts and crafts style likely to have been originally sold though Liberty and Co.
 
Condition: In superb condition and free from unsightly crazing, staining, chips or cracks. 
 
Marks: Printed marks and registration numbers with underglaze green signature.
 
Size: 30.5cm high.
 
Date: Circa 1903.
