Jesson and Birkett Ruskin Pottery Antique Arts and Crafts Copper & Brass Jardiniere/Planter.
A most striking example of an Arts and Crafts planished copper jardiniere by Jesson and Birkett inset with three large size Ruskin roundels surrounded by swirling plant forms. The beautiful design is then mounted with cast brass whiplash handles terminating in heart form feet.
The jardiniere is hand beaten from good gauge copper typical of the high quality and the accomplished designs from Jesson & Birkett.
The three unusually large size Ruskin Pottery roundels are beautifully fired in mottled green glazes which importantly have no condition issues.
