Arts and Crafts Glasgow Style Ruskin Pottery Planished Copper Jardiniere/Planter.
 
A striking and scarce example of an Arts and Crafts Glasgow style planished copper jardiniere inset with three Ruskin pottery roundels each surrounded by embossed Celtic Entrelac medallions. The 'bullet' shape design is mounted with cast copper spade form feet. 
 
The high quality jardiniere is hand beaten from good gauge copper with both embossed Celtic Entrelac detailing and geometric forms to its rim.
 
The three inset Ruskin Pottery roundels are beautifully fired in mottled green glazes.
 
Size: 27cm height x 36cm maximum diameter.
 
Circa: 1905.
 
Condition: In superb unblemished condition retaining its original patina with no dents or scratches, the Ruskin roundels remain in completely perfect condition.
